Up the mountain...

Yesterday we went 20 miles towards our church.. we were crunched for time and only had 2 hours to do it so we turned around 55mins out.. We needed the extra time to get up some of the hills we had come down. It went really well.. There was traffic and not as peaceful as some of the other paths we have taken, but it was fun!

Today, Tommy and I went 23.05 miles a lot of it was uphill!

WE MADE IT!!!!

Today we biked on the Delaware and Raritan Canal Park, but went right instead of left. (We went left on Tuesday) We went about 10 miles and Tommy's pedal fell off. The screw was stripped and we did not have a wrench to fix our little problem.. We decided to try and keep going so every few cycles Tommy would use his foot and bump the pedal back onto the socket. He said it was not as bad as he thought it was going to be. It only fell off once more on the 13 miles home. We left at 9:05 and got home at 12:30. We stoped for about 45 minutes to pick some raspberries. They were half way up the mountain and it was a perfect stop to take a break!
