Monday: Bike Tour Day 4

Day 4:
Today we got up at 6am and got an early start on biking. Dad and Jacob dropped us where we left off and went back to go fishing.

Tommy and I started at 7:45 and stopped a few times to make a phone call, take a bathroom break, and make a video! :) We biked for 41 miles!! We did it in 5 hrs which is pretty good with all of the breaks. We gave out a tract when we stopped to go to the bathroom so hopefully she read it and another seed has been planted.

We did more than was required today so we are ahead of the schedule just a little for when we get to the hills and Mountains in the North!! :)

When the support crew came after, they had gone fishing, we went to Wawa parking lot and dropped the tailgate and made some cheeseburgers for lunch! They were delicious! Jacob said that they caught 12 fish and they were biting like crazy. Dad and he would drop a line and they would take it before the other one would throw in their line almost every time. So we all went back to camp to grab our bathing suits and go fishing.

The place we went had a swimming hole made out of an old cranberry bog. The owner let us swim all day and catch as many fish as we wanted. We took lots of pictures because we had to throw the fish back. We had a lot of fun. The rope swing was the best!

We were there all afternoon and for supper we came back and made steak with onions. The go-withs were: potato salad, angel hair pasta with garlic and herbs, and corn on the cob. We are going to have ice cream with brownies for dessert! I am so full!

I  was hoping the videos would work, but unfortunately they are not! We hope you enjoy the pictures. Thanks for all of your comments keep them coming!

 12 fish!

  1. Steak?! It is a good thing that we buy beef in bulk from our friends in PA. When you buy half of a cow at one time, you pay the same price for steak as you do for hamburger meat. We are truly blessed but I didn't want your readers to think we are totally spoiled.:)

Also, I know it has been stated before but I want to restate it: all monies given to this project go directly for the purchase of the motorcycles for the pastors in India. Nothing is taken out for our gas or food or any other expenses. Thank you so much!!
